Importance of Sealing Concrete and Masonry Surfaces

Sealing concrete

Concrete and masonry surfaces are great because they’re so durable. But, if you want to keep them looking good, they need to be sealed.

Bricks, pavers and concrete can all benefit from the protection of a waterproof sealer. Surfaces that repel water are less likely to grow mold or mildew and are easier to keep clean. Whether you use a simple sealer or a glossy finish to enhance the surface color, your work will look better for longer.

    Hi, Barbara!

You can seal the concrete, but we recommend making any necessary repairs before you do. 15 years is enough time for the surface to accumulate cracks and weathered areas. Those need correction before sealing.

    Good luck!

I wanted some advice. I am redesigning my patio area and I am unsure whether to use resin or concrete. Is there anyone who has used both and has any reasons to use or not to use either.
